On July 16th, the West River Community Center welcomed us to use the outdoor pool before opening hours. This helped many enjoy the facilities at a quieter time. We had a blast!
We wish to thank Andrew Grafton, Facility Supervisor, and his entire team at the West River Community Center for all of their support. From the lifeguards to concession workers, everyone went out of their way to welcome us and accommodate our needs. We appreciate their thoughtfulness in installing the chair lift, providing the water wheelchair and assisting us in planning all that was needed for a successful event. There were many moments of pure joy, relaxing in the cool water on this perfect summer day. We look forward to swimming again in the future! (See newsletter for many photos of the event)
